Shortly speaking, this match for the people who are interested in movement of fans must be one of the most interesting ones among all planned this season. FKV LADS Venspils asupporters (?) had to arrive to Vilnius. There were many talks before this match – will they come or not, will come alone or with friends. Because of these reasons to the match in Vilnius there came not only Vilnius Žalgiris supporters, but also representatives of other groups (you could see fans from other towns).
As far as I know from mine sources – Žalgiris “ultra’s” gathered near Siemens arenaand started to move towards “Sportima” from there.
Here you could notice two things – big group of young people and also big forces of police. They were enormous – in the place we parked our car one could see 4 police minibuses and 2 cars. On the right side there were South 4 members. On the left near ticket office one could see several white-green Ultras. Generally speaking, watching the territory you could say – from whichever side enemy attacked, South 4 would have reacted to this.
South 4 were prepared and waiting for the guests. Police also were watching and south 4 ultras. Police was prepared for any trouble – they had bananas, helmets, defensive vests, even shooting guns – all ammunition prepared for possible action.
Time was running, but so called the “cool party in Baltics” you couldn’t see. People started to move to Sportima manege, after them and South 4 ultras. Though South 4 prepared for possible action, they were not late for starting support.
What concerns fanatism, difficult to say how many people were supporting “žalgiris”, because part of them were in the tribunes, others were moving, and rest were standing beside the tribune. Support lasted through all match non stop. By the way, first time I could hear Lithuanian version of “Horto magico”. Visual support I couldn’t see. in the end of match armed policemen lead South 4 to the exit.
That’s all of subjective impressions, we will wait for more news from people who participated inside.
Panevėžio ekranas football club lost in Baltic league against Riga's Riga 1:4. And Panevėžio supporters called "Ultras" from "Pirmoji Armada" were fighting in other front.
Delfi spoke with one fan from "Pirmoji Armada" who didnt want to say his name. He told that Ekrano ultros lost "Third half" to opponents from Ventspils "hools".
We are self-guilty, we were spilted despite fact, that we were expected to be attacked. There was 20-25 Latvians and 18 of ours. So they were a bit stronger. Their attack was very quick, and both sides spread out before coming police. - says fan from "Pirmoji armada" .
Wednesday, in Vilnius "Sportima" hall were game between Žalgiris and Venstpilis. Žalgiris won 1:0. This game was watched by many policemans. There was no incedents in this game. There was talks before game, that Pietu IV (žalgiris ultras) and Ventspils fans going to fight. But Ventspils fans didnt come in the game. Latvians fans are expected to get support from Minsk "ultras" but they didnt come as well.
So the new season begins not only for football players, but for Ultras as well.

In the TBL semi-finals Skonto FC won FK Riga in two matches with 8:2 and FBK Kaunas gained victory after 1:1 draw and 1:0 win in return match. The return match was attended by 1750 people - 600 of them were specially invited young football fans - kids from local schools. TBL made an official invitation for them, by writing a letter to school directors.
"It was clear even looking only at eSports.lv live match broadcast, that the tribunes are full with kids, who created a great fan support in the stadium," said Happel. TBL organizers will invite even more schools and young football club players to the TBL final on 25 October.
