Fights broke out in Luzern on saturday between travelling Young Boys Bern supporters and local police , when YB fans refused to take the busses the police had prepared for them. Instead they tried to force the police lines and walk to stadium. Clashes followed and police used rubber bullets.

Nine people were stabbed and hundreds arrested during fighting between rival fans at the Medellin derby in Colombia, media reported on Monday.

Police held more than 350 people and confiscated some 450 knives and a revolver as violence flared around the Atanasio Girardot stadium where Independiente Medellin beat Atletico Nacional 2-1 on Sunday, the local daily El Colombiano said.

They said a young man was shot dead in a separate incident not related to the match, according to police.

City police chief Yesid Vazquez said that, as from midnight, large numbers of the fans who had been arrested were being released.

Medellin notched up their first win of the Apertura championship under former Colombia coach Hernan Dario Gomez and climbed off the bottom of the standings with six points from seven matches. Nacional are seventh with nine points, seven off the pace

A young Atletico Nacional fan died from a gunshot to the head after an explosive clasico against Independiente Medellin, while eight supporters were taken to hospital and 315 people were arrested in violent scenes.

Johan Camilo Restrepo, 21, died in the Policlinica Municipal on Sunday evening after apparently being attacked by fans from his own team. According to police statements, the youngster was fatally wounded after the game following a botched robbery.

"He was murdered when he tried to take a purse from a 17-year-old girl, who was accompanied by fans of Nacional," explained General Yesid Vazquez, head of the Medellin Metropolitan Police.

FoxSports reports that Restrepo died of his injuries in the Policlinica at the same time that the girl was recovering from three stab wounds. In total eight fans were injured in clashes, one of whom was carrying a firearm when taken to hospital.

The match, won by Independiente 2-1, was marred by fierce clashes between supporters and police. Members of both barra brava attacked police during the game, and caused extensive damage to businesses and residences close to the Estadio Atanasio Girardot.

Police sources informed that in total 315 people were arrested and held for supposed violent acts. A total of 450 knives and other weapons were confiscated by security forces, as well as one pistol which had been abandoned in a nearby garden.

As each season and even more for three years and three consecutive finals, the consistency of decisions and positions of the Marseille supporters groups on the League Cup has yet emerged well " problem " ...

Strike between encouragement during the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Bayern, insults against our coach Didier Deschamps, attitudes and banners ridiculous during the league match against Montpellier at the Velodrome, almost all groups of supporters in Marseille gave grotesque (also strongly opposed by the vast majority of supporters, including in turns) and the strike "canceled" for some, "maintained" for others, has not let that certainty on their minds ...

And as we see that the tarps over "massive" present at the Stade de France Marseille side has been that of Massalia Brava , which includes thirty members, women (who take the stand with pizza on stairs) and including children, we will have toured the kind of decadence that touches the ultra movement ' within the city Marseille.

The Fanatics them, had announced last week by a statement that they do not organize travel to the Stade de France for the final of the League Cup, or even ticketing. So long as it is a little consistency and mentality around the OM, as well enjoy it and be satisfied ...

For the rest ...

Reminder Notice of FANATICS:

The group advises that it will not organize the trip to the Stade de France for the final of the League Cup, or even ticketing.

We took the decision not to participate in matches in that competition at home and outside. This measure has nothing to do with the current results of our team, even though our disappointment today is as great as our passion, it was taken well before the quarterfinals. If we were leading the championship, our boycott would be relevant.

We will not participate further in this bragging that today we are the only ones in Europe to have a league to 20 clubs and a League Cup! We can not continue to animate stages in a competition that exists only to fill the coffers of a proceeding who wishes to end our way of bearing to replace us by customers. The League was able to return the club against his own supporters to kick well salted fines, threats behind closed doors, refusing to postpone the match and many more blackmail. But what to say or do in a world where everything you say can be used against you? We no longer have the right to express our displeasure, freedom of expression was abolished in stages, so we decided to make a drastic decision: The boycott of the League Cup.

This is our politically correct way to stop funding our own repression, to protest against the proposed League to kill the movement Ultra 'in France.

We already hear those who reproach us to abandon our team in an official competition, we will respond to him that our club can we let go in the struggle for the survival of our passion, even worse, he has obeyed the League and the attack love with his image in righteousness, so we would no longer support him in a competition that represents everything we are fighting ...

The FORZA OLYMPIC BUT FOR FREEDOM ULTRA!

MARSEILLE 1988 FANATICS

Some 1 000 Macedonians , most of them football fans , gathered in the capital Skopje late on Monday to protest in the wake of the brutal murder of five Macedonian men last week.

Several protesters, mostly youngsters, were arrested after they threw rocks at police officers, and shouted nationalistic and anti-Albanian slogans, B92 informs.

Late Thursday, the bodies of four young men, aged 18 to 20, as well as that of a 45-year-old local man, all of ethnic Slavic origin, were found near a lake in the vicinity of Macedonian capital Skopje. The tragic event took place on the eve of Orthodox Easter holidays

The murders sparked fears that a simmering conflict between Slavic and Albanian Macedonian citizens could re-ignite.

Tensions in Macedonia have been simmering since the end of an armed rebellion in 2001, when ethnic Albanian rebels fought Macedonian government forces for about eight months, seeking greater rights for their community. The conflict left 80 people dead, and ended with the intervention of NATO troops.

Meanwhile, media reports emerged that there may have been a surviving witness to last week's brutal murders. According to Vecernie Novosti, the killers may have "overlooked" the presence of a witness, who is now believed to be providing investigators with valuable assistance.

The execution aims at sparking an interethnic conflict, Alexander Damovski, a journalist and editor-in-chief of the Macedonian news website MKD.mk, said in an interview with FOCUS News Agency, commenting on the killing of five fishermen close to Skopje and ensuing tension.
“The information about the way the killings were committed, about the escape and professionalism of the execution show it is a contract killing, not a preliminary interethnic conflict. This is an execution and a group or a service – no matter whether it is foreign or local – is behind it. However, what is important is that an interethnic context is sought,” said the journalist.
“If it is a contract killing and a service is involved, according to all pieces of evidence it is not related with settling of scores in the criminal world,” he said further.
“Up to now there are no serious concerns, but the aim is being achieved. Yesterday small demonstrations were held and the police did their work quickly. The pent-up anger in the Macedonian nation and Macedonian citizens in general still poses a risk,” he noted.
“I think there is good cooperation between the Macedonian and Albanians partners in the government in order to prevent interethnic conflicts. As to the country’s security and prevention of similar situations, it seems the security services do not have sufficient capacity,” he commented.
